POST-REUNION UPDATE!!
Hey everyone! Hope you all made it home safe and sound and have gotten back in the swing of everyday life. It was wonderful to see everyone and get caught up on each other's lives. We hope you all had a fantastic time!
We are working to get the photos out to you. There will be some posted to the website here but, due to the large number, we will be sending you links to the photos via email. Let me know if you have any problems accessing photographs.
Also, if you have photos to share, please drop me an email.
More will be forthcoming on how we stand financially. Please hold up on sending money at this time. If we have enough to settle our expenses, we'll probably just wait until we get ready for the 30th to solicite for more money.
Thanks again to those who helped out during the reunion. Now, lets stay in touch!

UPDATE JULY 30TH!!!
Just wanted to give you some information about this weekend. The party starts at 7pm Friday night at the Burns Park Hospitality House. We'll be serving snacks (lots of them) and we'll have beer (2 kegs), water, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Diet Sprite, Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper.
The DJ will get cranked up about 8pm. There is plenty of parking near the house and please enter via the front door. Make sure you stop by the registration desk to pick up your name tag and pay if you haven't done so already.
If anyone has issues that come up anytime throughout the weekend and you need to reach someone on the committee, simply call 501-944-5952 and we'll try to help.
We will have a hospitality suite at the Holiday Inn Airport in case anyone wants to hang out after either event. We will also be there most of the day on Saturday. We'll announce the room number on Friday night.
The doors open at 7pm on Saturday night and dinner will be served around 7:30. We'll have about a 20 minute slide show before the dancing begins!! There will be a cash bar. Also, if anyone is interested in a copy of the slideshow, see Karen East sometime during the weekend to get ordering information.
Remember, both events are casual. If you want to dress up, you are welcome to do so but most of us just want to stay cool!
All you out-of-towners....be safe coming in and we'll see you this weekend!! You in-towners...be safe too!

Registration will be allowed at the door but we'd like to be able to have a fairly accurate head count.

UPDATE JULY 21st!!!
Another note...The 1983 graduating class of North Pulaski is planning their reunion for the same weekend as ours. We have been in touch with several people who were our classmates in elementary and junior high but who ended up graduating from North Pulaski and some have expressed interest in attending our reunion. We are welcoming anyone who wants to attend our reunion to do so. Be on the lookout....there might be some folks there that may take you longer to recognize!
Also remember that if you are reserving a room at the Holiday Inn Airport, you need to ask for the Sylvan Hills High School Reunion block....it might save you a few bucks!
UPDATE JULY 6TH!!
Thanks to everyone who submitted photos- both old and new. We hope to have a really nice slideshow for the Saturday night banquet.
Registrations are still coming in and we REALLY APPRECIATE those of you who have registered. We have also had a couple of folks contact us to let us know they intend to be at the reunion but, due to other possible conflicts, need to wait until the night of the event to register. Knowing they are planning to come really helps us with planning, so if you are in the same situation, please email us and let us know.
For the Friday Night Mixer- we will have beer, soda, water, and juice available. If you don't drink beer (like me!) and want to bring your favorite adult beverage, please feel free to take advantage of our 'set-ups'.
We will also have a hospitality room at the Holiday Inn-Airport on Friday night after the mixer, as well as all day on Saturday and Saturday night. The room number will be announced at the mixer on Friday.
Keep those registrations coming!!
UPDATE JUNE 30TH!!
Today is the deadline to submit any photographs for the slideshow that will be shown at the reunion. Please have all photos emailed as jpeg images by 4pm to karenisahogfan@sbcglobal.net. Thanks so much for the response...we've gotten quite a number of photos in the last 2-3 days.
We have added a poll question that is very important so be sure to check that page out!

When I said in an earlier update that registrations were slowly coming in....I meant it! We've heard from at least 50 classmates who have indicated that they are planning to attend (and I know many more are planning to). However, only 14 folks have ponied up with the registration form and money to date.
COME ON FOLKS!! Help us plan for this event in the best way possible by letting us know you are coming. We have to purchase food, inform the hotel about the numbers for the banquet, and more importantly, plan how many kegs to buy!
Don't wait until the last minute. If you are planning to attend, send us your registration form TODAY! If for some reason you must wait until the night of the event to register but are planning to attend, shoot me an email at karenisahogfan@sbcglobal.net and let us count you!

UPDATE JUNE 9TH!!
Registrations are slowly coming in and we appreciate those of you who have already responded with the paperwork and your money! It is helping us with the costs we are incurring as we pick up supplies for the reunion. Please respond with your registration as soon as possible.
Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers to work the registration desk on Friday and Saturday nights. Please help us out! Contact Andy Haskell for details at aphaskell@hotmail.com.
PHOTOGRAPHS: Okay....no one seems to have photos from high school so we have another idea. Send us some photos of your life now- you and your family, pet, exciting vacations. Also, everyone has baby/kid photos....send us a photo of you as a baby or little kid. If you have digital versions, email them. If you have hard copies, send them to Karen E. and we'll get them scanned in and will return them to you at the reunion. Address for Karen E. is on the contact us page.
A special thanks to Vicki Hoover, Beth Monk-Caipen and Wanda Crane-Keith for their help with the mailouts and to Andy Haskell for continuing to search for missing classmates.
Remember to make your hotel reservations early at the Holiday Inn Airport and ask for the SHHS room block. We have secured a wonderful room at the hotel that will serve as a Hospitality Suite during the weekend.

By now, you should have received the registration form for the reunion. If you did not get it in the mail, you can print it directly from this website by following the instructions below. As always, feel free to contact us if you have any difficulty or questions.
Please remember to send us your registrations as soon as possible and make your hotel reservations early as well.
We are currently still needing photographs so get those to us as soon as possible.
We need volunteers to help with the registration tables on Friday and Saturday night. If you are willing to help, please let us know as soon as possible. We hope to have enough people volunteer that everyone can split up the time so no one is stuck at the table for very long!

You will be receiving the registration form for the reunion in the mail this week! Please read through it and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.
We are asking that you go ahead and submit your registration and money as soon as possible so that we can better plan on the amount of food and drink to have available.
If you would prefer, you can go to the registration page on this website and print out a copy of the registration form and go ahead and send it in.
Also, we still need photographs of past reunions and our school days. Please take the time to look for these items and let us know if you find anything we can use for the slideshow.
POSTCARDS ARE OUT!!
We have mailed out the informational postcards and you should be receiving them in the next few days. Please take a moment and register on this website's classmates page if you haven't done so.
Costs for the events are now available on the Details of Events page. I hope to insert a registration form onto the website soon but we will be mailing registrations packets in the next month.
